Ana Vukadin, UDC Editor
Ana Vukadin is an editor of the Universal Decimal Classification. Her areas of interest are knowledge organization, conceptual data modelling, entity management, controlled vocabularies, metadata schemes, semantic interoperability and digital services shared across the GLAM community. Ana's previous experience includes the position of a subject cataloguer and subsequently the bibliographic standards and metadata coordinator at the National and University Library in Zagreb, Croatia.
She holds a doctoral degree in library and information science from the University of Zadar, Croatia, and has authored a number of articles published in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes. She has published the book Metadata for Transmedia Resources (Chandos, 2019) addressing metadata practices in heterogeneous web environments. She has created a microlearning programme for information and data literacy upskilling of cultural professionals within the Erasmus+ programme BoostDigiCulture (2022-2023).
Ana has also served as a member of several IFLA bodies, including the Cataloguing Section Standing Committee and the Bibliographic Conceptual Model Review Group.
